The sound of jazz returns to the heart of Hat Yai — and this year, it’s bigger, bolder, and more colorful than ever. Hatyai Jazz Festival 2025, a celebration where music meets colors, will transform the city into a vibrant playground of rhythm, creativity, and community on May 2–3, 2025, from 4:00 PM to midnight.
Hosted by the Songkhla Chamber of Commerce and proudly supported by Hatyai Municipality, the Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (TCEB), and the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), this year’s festival promises an immersive experience for music lovers, cultural explorers, and fun-seekers alike.

Two Days. Two Stages. Unlimited Vibes.
Set across a dazzling open-air venue on Chimphli Road, right by the canal in front of Saengthong Vitthaya School, the event features two vibrant stages — each curated to bring out a different flavor of jazz and community spirit:
  • The Main Stage will host the crème de la crème of Southeast Asia’s jazz talent, including internationally recognized musicians and top university big bands.
  • The Miles Davis Stage, a creatively designed mini stage, offers a platform for emerging local musicians and students to shine — igniting the next generation of jazz talent in Southern Thailand.
With colorful décor, immersive lighting, palm-lined walkways, art installations, market booths, and laid-back chill zones, the festival’s layout blends art and music to invite visitors to not just listen — but live the jazz experience.

  • Tony & Sararn feat. Hatyai Jazz Ensemble – A star-powered collaboration to close the festival on a high note.
  • The Northern Jazz Unit (Malaysia) – Cross-border sounds from one of Malaysia’s most dynamic jazz groups.
  • Swing Dude – Uplifting and playful; perfect for dancing under the stars.
  • Thaksin University Big Band – A powerful, youthful performance from one of the region’s top academic ensembles.
